Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India and is one of the top-rated universities of Punjab. LPU is a private university in Phagwara, Punjab that is affiliated with NCTE, COA, PCI, IAP, BCI, UGC. LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty.

Hello I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. If you ever make your mind to study abroad, LPU can help you realize this as it has 30+ tie ups with International universities. You study 2 years at LPU and rest at other university and get full degree from that international university. 4. More number of companies visit LPU for placements. 5. N number of different clubs run at LPU which actually works. 6. Many industries, corporate like Cognizant, Oracle, etc. Provide training at LPU.7. Google in house excellent center. 8. Membership of internationally recognised agencies, student/research clubs, etc. 9. Almost all kind of games are played and sports events are organized at LPU throughout the year. 10. The teaching role of faculty members reflects their centrality in addressing the primary educational mission among colleges and universities. As faculty members teach, they disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students and assist students with the learning process and applying the knowledge. Highlights about the faculty - - - - - LPU has around 2000 faculty members in the university. - LPU has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. - Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. - The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. - LPU believes in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So they conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level - They recruit faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as they are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. The faculty of the department is a team of trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambience of LPU. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback of a particular teacher or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced.
