The percentage requirements listed below are necessary to be eligible for NIMCET: Applicants in the general category need to have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 60% of the possible points, or 6.5 on a 10-point scale. A minimum of 60% should have been earned during graduation.
A 5% grade relaxation for candidates who fall under the SC or ST categories. Either at the degree level or at the 10+2 level, you should be learning mathematics. The NIMCET announcement for this academic year is already available.

Candidates securing zero or negative marks either in Mathematics or in Total Marks in NIMCET test will be disqualified. Based on the marks obtained by a qualified candidate in NIMCET test, a rank will be allotted by adopting the following criteria.
- The marks obtained in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, English, will be summed up. Thus, maximum weighted marks will be 1000.
- Ranking will be based on total weighted marks obtained by a candidate.
