In the APSET exam, 6 per cent of candidates who have cleared both papers are declared qualified for the eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lecturership. Candidates need to obtain the APSET qualifying marks to clear the papers. Candidates who have secured at least 40 per cent marks (General Category) and 35 per cent marks (reserved categories) in both papers combined together are declared qualified in the exam for Assistant Professor/Lecturership.
