    ILS Law College has regularly been regarded as one of India's finest law colleges. Some of its latest rankings are In 2023, India Today ranked ILS Law College ninth out of 70 law colleges in India. The Week placed it ninth out of 41 law institutes in India in 2023. Outlook ranked it fourth among India's 26 law colleges in 2020. In 2023, the IIRF ranked it 12th among 39 law institutes in India. In 2019, CSR-GHRDC ranked it first out of the ten best law schools of eminence, and India Today placed it fourth out of the ten top law colleges.
