LPU is a UGC recognised university and has received the recognition in year 2006. About LPU rankings:
LPU is ranked 47th among all Government and Private Universities in India as per NIRF. As per World University rankings 2023 LPU is ranked 23rd amongst Top Universities of India (Both Government & Private). The prestigious WURI Rankings 2022 has ranked LPU 2nd in India among the Top Ivy League universities. In our very first attempt, we have secured a global band of 101-200.

I would say that Lovely Professional University is a great university which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all. LPU makes leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings with values. This is just one of the many reasons why it is consistently ranked no.1. LPU is a renowned university in India which has received many rankings due to its great placements and academics. And when it comes to NIRF rankings, according to a recent ranking released by NIRF, LPU is among the top 100 institutes of the country. This ranking includes all the IITs, Iims, and other central universities of the country. So here are the full rankings for LPU. NIRF ranking LPU received recently is quite good:

Hence, Lovely Professional University was ranked among the top 200 universities of the world in The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. Since its inception, its the first time Lovely Professional University was ever engaged in the rankings and was ranked second-the highest among Indian varsities. Only three Indian varsities made it to the Top 200 varsities in the rankings this year. Apart from that LPU has improved its rankings in NIRF too. As a result, in The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, Lovely Professional University was placed among the top 200 universities in the world. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University's Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. There are numerous achievements in the credit of LPU. LPU is nowadays considered one of the leading private universities in India. Rather than going to praise my university, I would like to help you by sharing my own experience. I am pursuing B.Tech in computer Science and I feel joining LPU was one of the best decisions of my academic life. It has an amazing and experienced academic staff, all knowledgeable and mostly IITians. I have most of my friends pursuing B.Tech and some have completed the same from LPU and most of them are placed in prestigious product and service-based companies. How can I forget that LPU breaks the placement record every year. Taking any field whether Agriculture, Management, Law, journalism into consideration, LPU is the best to pursue any programme I must say. Some recent major ranking are:
