Foremost, LPU didn't filled the form for NIRF rankings. So, you may not found its name there and simply that doesnt mean that lpu is not that much capable. The biggest drawback of our education system is it runs on the policies and amendments that were formed 30 to 40 years before. Though, LPU stands among the top universities of India. The convocation of 2k17 witnessed Honourable President Shree Pranab Mukherjee on the dice. Is it possible to invite and welcome the president of the country by an ordinary institute? The answer lies within. -

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
