The University of Law has a rich history dating back to 1876 when it was founded as Gibson & Weldon, a prominent tutorial firm. It gained university status in 2012 and is now the largest law school in the United Kingdom. Remarkably, it was the country's first for-profit educational institution. In June 2021, The University of Law achieved a 5-star rating in the World University Rankings, according to global higher education experts. The university offers a wide range of programs in two main fields: Business and Law. International students can choose from 22 undergraduate and 44 postgraduate programmes.
