What is the rank required to get CS branch in LPU?

Hello, I think you will get your desired stream if you perform good I LPU NEST exam usually, the cut off lies between 30-40%, if you score more than 40%, then there are chances to reserve the seat in your preferred stream. The permutations and combinations are decided on various parameters, if you inclined to score more, then you do not have to worry. You should inculcated with the guidelines put forwarded by LPU and complete the tasks/admission process within the prescribed time limit, you will be good to go then.

Dear Aditya, you need to 74 marks or more in JEE for admission to B.Tech CSE. If you didn't give JEE, you need to score high in LPU-NEST for B.Tech CSE. Cut-off of LPU-NEST depends on the number of applicants but approximately you need 40% to clear this exam. Specifically for CSE, you need to score more marks, as high as you can score because again it depends on the number of applicants. If you get an AIR of 2400, you will get this branch.

There is no such defined rank. Though score above 170 to get a seat fixed or less than this may have your chances less due to high number of competitors. Also like to mention that, you can give your LPU-NEST more than one. Best of luck.

LPU does not require any rank. There is a special entrance exam conducted LPU-NEST by the university and accordingly you get admission as well as scholarships. You need to have 55% in 12th.

Dear Aditya, LPU is a premier university of India with best placement record. LPU has very flexible counseling system. After qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Main. You will fill preference of streams. Now, university will take care of it, even if your rank is not good, your chances to get admission in CS branches high due to major shuffling of streams by other students. In such conditions, the university online system automatically updates your preference to first choice. So, do your hard work in your full pace.
