LPU is 100 amongst top Engineering Institutions in India as per by NIRF rankings (2020) by MHRD. - LPU among Top 100 Private State Universities in Placement Performance Category. - LPU is 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India- Higher Education Review has placed LPU in Top 10 Engineering Colleges in India in Placements. -Lpu ranked among Top 200 globally as per the times higher education impact rankings.

It gives immense pride to share the accolades of LPU. LPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). .

In ranking LPU stands at 47th place in NIRF ranking among all government and private universities of India. In world University Rankings 2023, LPU is ranked 23rd amongst Top Universities of India (Both Government & Private). In world University Ranking 2022, LPU Is Ranked 36th Amongst Top Universities In India As Per Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022.

Talking about the NIRF-2022 ranking which is issued by the Ministry of Education, government of India: Lovely Professional University is Ranked 47th Overall among all Government & Private Universities in India. School of Architecture & Design Ranked 12th among all Government & Private Architecture Institutions in India. School of Law Ranked 13th among all Government & Private Law Institutions in India. School of Pharmacy Ranked 19th among all Government & Private Pharmacy Institutions in India. Mittal School of Business Ranked 34th among all Government & Private Management Institutions in India. Engineering faculty has been Ranked 51st among all Government & Private Engineering Institutions in India. As per the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2023: LPU stands at 23rd place among top Universities of India considering Government and Private entities.

LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2021 rankings, only three Indian universities have made to the list of Top 200 in the World. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Lovely Professional University 99 overall in 2020, and 78 among universities. Engineering -Top 100 Management Top 40 Pharmacy- top 30.

LPU is ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. It has also bagged many other prestigious accreditation/rankings/awards. First private university in India to get ICAR accreditation for agriculture programmes with GPAP of upto 3.75 (PG), 3.72 (UG) and overall GPAC of 3.42. Partnerships with companies like Google, Microsoft, NSE, WileyNext, Cadence, Novotel, Bosch, Canon, among others to boost industry orientation and employability. Placements in 1400+ unique companies from 2014-2018 including Amazon, HUL, Adobe, Verizon, VMWARE, with a year-on-year increase in the number of recruiters from around 150 in 2014-15 to 580+ in 2018-19. 150+ tie-ups from 40+ countries including USA, UK, Australia, Canada etc. Hosted 106th Indian Science Congress, inaugurated by Honourable Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, with the participation of 3 Nobel laureates among 15000 international/national delegates, which immensely motivated faculty, improved networking and boosted research output.
