Dear Aditya,
I don't know the ranking of Mahindra University, Hyderabad but I can share the same for LPU as I did my MBA from there and know LPU and its ranking well.
LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees.
Ranking:
1. Ranked 1st for Focus on Affordable and clean energy in India
2. Ranked 2nd for Decent Work and Economic Growth in India
3. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIR

I am not quite aware of Mahindra University, Hyderabad - B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering as CSE programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. I am not quite aware of Mahindra University, Hyderabad - B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering as CSE programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. Placements at LPU have always been good, LPU has set the bar very high due to its record-breaking placements. Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world, from Google to Microsoft to Apple. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. LPU students have been successful in cracking placement opportunities with core engineering profiles from industry giants like Honda, Voltas International, Deakin Air Conditioners, Ashok Leyland, TVS Motor Company Ltd. , Bosch, and Seimens Home Appliances, Elgi Equipments, Forbes Marshall Pvt. Ltd. Rockman Industries, Dharam Consulting, Godrej Consumer Products, etc. LPU students got Record-Breaking Placements In Computer Science.

One of the per-requisites for ranking by any industry body or academic body is the placement record. As our first batch (2014) would only graduate in 2018, we are still ineligible for ranking in the conventional sense, by anybody. The Best Emerging Engineering Colleges of the country. In fact, a couple of national publications have approached us regarding the same and we should be featured in some leading publications as an emerging institution to watch out for.
Please note that our academic partner Centrale Paris is ranked one of the top 100 universities for engineering education.
