    The ranking trend for the BTech category at IIT Guwahati has been quite impressive. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, the BE/BTech programme was ranked #7. According to the India Today 2021 ranking report, it was ranked #6 in the Engineering category. In the QS World University Rankings 2024, it secured the #111 position in the Science category. Additionally, The Week Ranking 2021 also placed it at #6 in the Engineering category. Overall, the rankings reflect consistent excellence in the BTech category at IIT Guwahati.
