It varies from institute to institute. For example, IIMs ask for a minimum of 5 years of work-ex whereas Symbiosis colleges ask for a minimum of 3 years work-ex.

Although the minimum work experience required for applying to exceutive MBA will vary from one institute to another, but when applying to any well reputed institutes, it is suggested to have about minimal 3 years valid work experience.

The minumum experience could be al ittle requirment but what is really essential for achieving success after Executive MBA is whether the organization or the field in which you are working is prepared to give you larger responsibilities & pay packed just on the basis of you completing Executive MBA.
