  • Candidates applying for BCA in IP University colleges must meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible to take admission, aspirant must be a Class 12 pass in the relevant group of subjects with 50% aggregate. The student should have studied English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics/Computer Science/Informatics Practice/Computer Applications/Multimedia & Web Technology/Data Management Application/Web Application as compulsory subjects of a non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratios.

    The required qualification for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at Indraprastha University (IPU):

    Academic Qualification:

    1. The candidate must have passed Class 12th examination from a recognised university/ institute.
    2. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination (10+2). Candidates appearing for their 10+2 exam can also apply.
    3. Subjects:
      • English and Mathematics are compulsory subjects. Candidate must have passed them in 10+2 examination (core or elective or functional).
