    Hi,
    I believe you are talking about RVCE. Firstly, 10+2 and an entrance exam is the basic eligibility. In the entrance exam you need to have a higher ranking since RVCE is one of the topmost colleges. Exact ranking purely depends on the course you are looking for and any special quotas that would apply for you. Different types of entrance exams are: KCET local students take it); COMEDK (outside of Karnataka take it) and of course the management quota. Alternately, students do Diploma and then do the lateral entry for engineering as well.
