<p dir="ltr">Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D through LPUNEST score, and various other schemes.</p><p dir="ltr">By qualifying LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) i.e. by scoring qualifying marks (tentative) in LPUNEST you will fulfil one of the eligibility conditions required to take admission to certain programmes at LPU.</p><p dir="ltr">The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, BSc Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc. LPUNEST is not mandatory.</p><p dir="ltr">To avail scholarship, your LPUNEST score must be more than the cutoff at that time. LPUNEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, and marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cutoff of last year. The cutoff is divided into three categories/brackets and the shortlisted candidates receive the scholarship based on their marks/cut-off category. Each bracket represents specific criteria which an applicant must fulfil, for him/her to fall in that particular bracket. Criteria in bracket 1 are the most strict and the conditions are relaxed in subsequent brackets and the scholarship is also reduced in each next bracket. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket 1 (top bracket) get the highest scholarship and those in Bracket 2 or Bracket 3 get a relatively lesser scholarship. The scholarship availed by the candidate is applicable through out the course duration.</p>

LPU NEST does not follow a rank-based system as the exam does not have a specific date. Instead, the focus is on achieving the qualifying marks, which determine the scholarship reward. Scholarships are not offered for scores below approximately 35%. The highest scholarship is awarded for scores of 70% or above. The question paper is for a total of 500 marks.
