What is the required score in class 12th (PCM) to get admission in LPU?

Dear Sandeep, The eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Tech at LPU is that candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th with Maths, Physics and english. However there are few exceptions: 1. 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) 2. 10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University. LPU offers various scholarships also, your 12th and 10th marks both can enable you to secure the scholarships upto 45 % of fee for full duration. LPU is so generous that if will consider the higher scholarship if you fall in two different slabs. This year the placements have been fabulous with following details: 1. More than 700 companies overall 2. More than 60 offer above 10 LPA 3. More than 60 come to LPU only, outside of IITs. 4. More than 100 out of fortune 500 club 5. The highest package 42 LPA 6. Placement record : 100% placements to all the eligible candidates and to all the placements aspiring candidates. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and university Life.

Sandeep, the eligibility for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) OR In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

Hi, It basically depends on the programme in which you are interested and want to apply for. Due to the national Lockdown, the admissions for 2020 sessions are being done online. There is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview. There are courses 200+ programme like engineering, Honours programme whose eligibility in the qualifying exam is 60%, some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks of previous qualification, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get that is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester. So, I would suggest you do your maximum efforts to score good percentage in 12th. Thanks.

Dear Sandeep, its only 60% marks required in the 12th class, along with PCM. Plus point this time LPU giving scholarship by considering previous two qualifications, if student clear just LPU NEST entrance exam. Furthermore, at least 70% marks are required for scholarship and as student performed better in their previous studies so scholarship offered by the university is also better.

In order to take admission in LPU you must score at least 60% in 10+2 along with the subjects mentioned as well you should appear for LPU NEST if eligibility requires. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship.
