To become a game programmer, you must be from computer science background. As to develop a game, knowledge of programming is must. -
You need to choose a particular game engine first. If you wanna be a game developer. Only then you can decide which programing language you need to learn to code your game. They are many games engines like Unity, Unreal, Game Studio, Godot, etc. Every game engine had it's own language in which they accept coding and the game development is done. -
To become a game developer, you need to learn how to use software which are used for creating games like Unity. Unity is one of the top game development software available in the market because of its policies for indie developers. Unity requires code to be written in C# which is an official language created by Microsoft. -
