What is the requirement to become a game developer?

I am a student of class 12th with arts stream.

To become a game programmer, you must be from computer science background. As to develop a game, knowledge of programming is must.

Hi Renuka, I am a B.Sc. mathematics student. Can I pursue this in correspondence while working after completing this degree? Can I do game designing after completing B.Sc. in mathematics?
