    DDU Gorakhpur follows the Uttar Pradesh domicile candidate's government-provided reservation policy. This seat is reserved for Scheduled Castes, 21%, Scheduled Tribes, 2%, and Other Backward Classes, 27%. Another addition to the provision has been the Economically Weaker Sections, according to state government guidelines.
