What is the reservation policy for B.Com at HPU?

<p>HPU reserves some seats for SC/ ST candidates of Himachal domicile. Below is the HPU BCom seat reservation criteria:</p><table border="1"><tbody><tr><th>Category</th><th>Seat Reservation</th></tr><tr><td>Himachali SC</td><td>15%</td></tr><tr><td>Himachali ST</td><td>7.5%</td></tr></tbody></table><p>The remaining 77.5% of seats shall be filled as under:</p><p>25% of the seats for admission shall be open for all aspirants irrespective of the institution from where they have passed their qualifying exam;</p><p>75% of the seats are reserved for candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from HPU or HP Krishi Vishvavidyalaya&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href="https://www.shiksha.com/university/dr-yashwant-singh-parmar-university-of-horticulture-and-forestry-himachal-pradesh-other-25089">Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry</a>, subject to the following reservations:</p><ul><li>5% seats- reserved for outstanding sportsmen/ women (who have represented the University or State in Inter-University or Inter-State tournaments).</li><li>5% seats- reserved for candidates who have shown outstanding performance in cultural activities</li></ul>
