Under the Societies Registration Act (1860), the Ministry of Education (MoE) of the Government of India (GOI) established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustaining premier testing organisation. NTA which is known as National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates, conduct of the test, hosting of answer key, inviting challenges, finalising Answer Keys, preparing and declaring result and hosting Score Card. Merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the score card of CUET (PG)-2023 provided by NTA.

The CUET PG exam screen will show the total number of attempted, unattempted, and marked for review questions. Candidates can also move forward and backward with the help of mouse.
The CUET PG counselling process is conducted separately by the participating universities. Qualifying students have to register and participate in the counselling process. There will not be a common counselling process.
As per the statistics shared by the exam conducting authority, National Testing Agency, approximately four Lacs candidates appear for the CUET PG every year. Science, Humanities and Linguistics have the highest number of candidates.
