A chartered accountant is one of the most in-demand professions in India. A chartered accountant's salary is determined by the company in which he or she works and their experience. CAs at top private companies can earn up to Rs. 14 Lacs per year. The average annual salary of a chartered accountant is around 6.3 LPA. The top companies hiring CAs include Ernst & Young, PwC, Infosys, etc. , offering salary packages around 10 LPA. However, as a fresher, the CA can expect to earn about Rs. 2 LPA. Later on, with experience, they can earn more than one Lacs per month.
