What is the salary of a geneticist?

I m a medical student. I secured overall 80% in class X(ICSE) and 88% in class XII (ISC). now i m doing B.Sc. Biotechnology(Hons.) . I have given exams for second year . I wanted to ask what is the scope of doing M.sc. in genetics and how much is the salary of a geneticist?
