    A fresher architect in the field earns around Rs. 15000-20000 per month, with 5 years' experience an architect earns around Rs. 7 lakh/annum, with 10 year experience an architect earns around Rs. 10lakh/annum, and so on with the higher experience the salary keeps growing.

    The average salary in metros is 20K per month for a fresher and in small towns is up to 12-15K. As you acquire experience, you can join large commercial firms which offer good packages with facilities. If you start working from the final year as a trainee, it is an added advantage.

    Salary as an architect, you can earn a starting salary of 4-5 LPA. The salary will increase with your experience in this field. Candidates having a work experience of more than 5 years can get a salary around 8-10 LPA. The salary is high in the private sector as compared to the government sector. In USA, an architect can earn a salary package of around $95000 per annum. The salary will also depend on your job profile, company, location & work experience.
