    The Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer is part of Group A services in the central government. The IRST officer is in charge of the Indian Railways' transportation department. The salary of an IRTS is equal to that of any other Group A officer. The salary structure is as follows for an IRTS officer:
    1. At the junior scale, the starting salary scale is Rs. 15,600,000 to Rs. 39,100.
    2. The grade pay is Rs. 5400 at the entry-level post, which is Assistant Manager.
    3. This grade pay is increased to Rs. 6600 after promotion to the senior scale.
