    Starting salary for freshers is about 450$ to 750$. If you get a placement in Indian company your salary will be 250$ to 350$.

    Marine engineering is one of the best-paid lines of work amongst all careers. The average starting salary for freshers who have done B.Tech in marine engineering is around Rs. 4.8-6 lacs per annum. The average salary of marine engineers who have decent amounts of experience is Rs. 10-12 lacs per annum. Chief engineers who have more have decades of experience takes home an annual package of approximately Rs. 41 lacs.     Hello,
    The figures are salaries paid per month in Indian Rupee and US Dollars : Fifth Engineer or Engineering Cadet: Rs 35 to 75 thousand INR per month; or 300 to 1200 USD per month. Fourth Engineer: Rs 1.5 to 2.25 lacs INR; or 2000 to 4000 USD per month. Third Engineer: Rs 2.75- 3.5 lacs INR; or 4000 to 5900 USD per month.
