A programmer is primarily works in the computer language such as Assembly, COBOL, C, C+, C#, Java, Lisp, Python, etc. And a web developer is a programmer who specializes in the development of world wide web applications. The role of web developer is to build and maintain websites. Being an alumni of LPU I would like to throw some light over the facts about LPU. Students possessing excellent command over programming language, database management system, etc. Should opt for an MCA course instead of an MBA. The job opportunities are also increased to a larger scale with better job profiles. The pay scale of a BCA graduate after MCA is more than an MBA. If one has qualities like leadership, business management skills, risk management, etc. Should definitely go for MBA course. Also, if one has lost interest in the IT world after completing BCA then he/she can opt for MBA. MCA course will be icing in the cake, as you can grab fat paychecks in reputed organizations. Both are equally good, and the choice should depend upon the candidates interests, skills, and aptitude. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Being an LPU alumnus I can say that if you are a BCA student of LPU you do not have to worry about a job and all because LPU give the best placements with a higher salary package and once you've done your BCA from LPU you are capable enough you can handle your family business. The nicest thing about LPU in terms of placement is that they offer placement classes to all first-year students who choose to do so.
