What is the scope after completing B.Com?

Hi Deepak, I am currently pursuing my post-graduation in banking management. It is a 6 month course that offers a job opportunity in banking sector. I would definitely recommend you the program because it’s a good value for anyone who wants to work after a short span of course.

Commerce graduates have following options after graduation degree: M.Com, MBA, LLB, MCA or PG Diplomas or Industry certifications or professional qualifications. M.Com focuses on commerce, accounting, management and economics related subjects and prepares you for finance and accounting jobs in enterprises. MBA is a generic course on business management and administration and it focuses on functional areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. MBA provides wider options in different functions and various types of industries. Although you must do post graduate degree based on your interest area, I will recommend MBA with Finance specialization for better career opportunities and growth. Commerce graduates are eligible to do MCA if they had Maths at +2 stage to have career in IT industries as an application developer/ tester. B.Com graduates can also do one year long PG Diploma in area of their interests such as banking, insurance, capital market, HR, sales etc. They can also do industry specific certifications such as CMA, LOMA, CFA etc. They are eligible to become CA or CS to start a professional career. B.Com graduates can also do LLB to have career in law particularly in taxation. B.Com graduates are also eligible to appear for all central government and public sector bank or PSU jobs where eligibility criteria is graduation degree. They can appear for CDS to join Indian Army. They are also eligible for paramilitary forces as Asst. Commandant.
