In my opinion, an MBA is more about peer learning, interactions with professors and on site conversations. While the classroom learning plays a good role in providing you with technical/theoretical knowledge, a major part of your personality development happens when you study in a Campus with 400 different students, from diverse backgrounds and with varied experiences and perspectives. MBA is more about the experience rather than education. The focus of all the good MBA programs is on leadership development, teamwork, peer learning, problem-solving, case analysis, gaining the right business insights, building effective communication sk

One thing is for sure. You ain't gonna get as many opportunities as a regular MBA degree. And again it depends on your skillset.

I would advise you to go for regular MBA. Unfortunately, most of the distance MBA programs just involve waste of time and money and do not give much value in terms of promotion or monetary growth.
The market is flooded with MBA from top colleges, so to make a difference among the crowd you have to learn new skills which are niche, do online certifications to enhance your knowledge, learn a new domain, switch companies. So, the bottom line is that go for Distance MBA only if you are working somewhere with a designated position else regular MBA is the best option.

As per my knowledge, you are eligible for all the vacancies in the private sector all in the government sector which requires MB, but yes it is true that they would prefer the student who had pursued MBA from regular institution, as compared to an open. Thank you.

I cannot give you right answer but I can tell its better than Sikkim Manipal University, and other small private universities. IGNOU is run by the central government of India. If you are applying for Government jobs you will have no problem. IGNOU is recognised by AICTE. If have financial problems and want to learn wile earning then do it. It all depends on MNCs, they want 15 years of formal education so till a degree, so you may qualify. I just did my formal education till +2 (PUC, 12th) and did BCA from IGNOU. MNCs not even considering my resume so before even being interviewed I am rejected because I don't have formal education or a

Value of regular MBA is always higher if you are fresher and entering into job market. But if you are having good work experience then side by side you continue to do MBA from IGNOU, then if your present job demands MBA & you give this degree to them surely you have more chances of promotion & job change. But in open market without work experience don't opt for MBA from IGNOU.

There is no such scope after doing MBA from a distance or open university. Rather, I'd suggest you to go for regular MBA from a good college.

MBA from IGNOU is most beneficial when you are working too. Hence, it is open mode. It still has value though if you pursue it otherwise. MBA freshers are high in demand everywhere. And IGNOU is a good institute in this regard. They conduct their own OpenMAT for admissions.

You must go for regular MBA courses, because the consideration would be really better than that of distance MBA. IGNOU is good institutes for the distance MBA, but you need to rethink about doing regular or distant MBA.

For distance learning, it is good, you can also go with tier to colleges like Doon Business School which has good ROI.
