What is the scope after doing french honors from Amity University?

Amity University, Gwalior is the knowledge hub of the city, the building students up goes beyond academics and here is when foreign languages step in. The foreign language course has been integrated into the curriculum and the students are currently taught French as a mandatory subject. The language as a subject is divided amongst the semesters in a systematic pattern and the language design boasts of getting along with the foreigner students. Besides learning the written aspects of French, students are put through verbal assessments and viva which develops a familiarity with the language beyond a mere subject to take exams for. Integration of a foreign language i.e., French in the acquainted curriculum, prepare students to take on the global stage as spontaneously and lucidly like they ventured into the national boundaries Several events like Francophonie ensures that the learning and fluency ranges from being in the class to being on the stage, taking that into account Amity University Gwalior provides various platforms for students to showcase their learned talents and honed verbal skills, French has encouraged students to speak up and improve, ultimately gearing them up for a bigger and bolder stage of life.

Since I am a French trainer and have taught/teach many Amity students, I think I can answer this question. In my opinion, avoid it. The quality of French education including BA (Hons.) in French at Amity University, Noida is not good. Either students don't study or are not taught in the right manner. Overall, the environment and culture of the college is not good for those who want to learn and make a career in the French language. Most students just want to pass the exam rather than learning French in a professional manner. If you are really serious about doing BA (Hons.) in French, try JNU, Delhi University (Arts Faculty), or Jamia Millia Islamia. Unlike Amity, where money is the only criteria, admission in these 3 universities is done through entrance exam. If in case you fail to crack entrance exam, no worries! Pursue B.A. (Hons) in some other subject and learn French at Alliance Francaise de Delhi. By the time you will complete BA (Hons.), you'd have completed at least B2 if not C1 (provided that you put enough effort and practice regularly (especially listening and speaking). Those who complete B2/C1 are better in French compared with those in B.A. (Hons.) in French (in most cases).
