Economics qualification is very much recognised in banking sector, insurance sector and Indian economics service and in teaching field as you can become economics teacher in schools and in colleges. Stock exchange is also a sector where post graduate in economics can look for great career/jobs opportunities as broker and market researcher, etc. Multinational companies and computer industries also hire economics PG candidates. Otherwise there are various other options available for you like you can seek jobs in railways, civil services, staff selection commission even in defense. -
