What is the scope and job opportunities available after B.Tech in EI?

I got EI branch in a private college & now I am confused about the type of job opportunities and scope that this branch offers. Is this a tough branch as compared to other branches? Can I chance my branch to CS if this branch offers low salaries?

Electronics engineering in EI is considered. You are at par with other guys from ECE and EEE. Instead of electrical or communication, you can study instrumentation engineering, which is also an important branch dealing with measurement of various parameters in all domains of engineering.
