    B.Arch is a 5 year professional degree course. One can go for a job after B.Arch for a good experience or can start own consultancy firm (firm needs experience which one can get only after job). Council of Architecture (COA) India provides license for practicing as an architect. 'Generally' there are no placements in B.Arch but in no way it means architects are jobless. They have plenty of options to earn as assistant architect in good firms under reputed architects or start their own firm in any city.
