What is the scope and salary of a fashion designer?

Hi, * As a fashion designer, there are many avenues and opportunities. You can opt for a career in : -export house -textile mill -manufacturing and processing company that produces clothing, soft furnishings and other textiles-based products -several large fashion and clothing retailers -design studios and consultancies -handloom cooperatives and buying agencies You may even work as freelancer. And with good experience and contacts, you can eventually open your own business. * Salary : Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, to give a brief idea, a fresher can earn around 15-20 thousand per month. It depends on your college and the company first of all. It could from 8000 a month to upto 60-70000 per month but the average is 12000-15000 per month.

Hmmm, Anywhere between re 1 to 1 billion. But what I would suggest you to do is, first try to concentrate on your ability and build your skills rather than thinking about money as prerequisite.
