Dear Shon, Biotechnology engineering is the study of biology with technology for research &amp; development. The scope of this branch has been on the high in the following fields: Gene therapy Tissue culture Immunotechnologies Genetic Engineering Plant-based drugs Rational drug design Stem cell techniques New DNA technologies Photosynthetic efficiency Enzyme engineering and technology Biotechnology has great scope. Candidates who have completed B.Tech degree in Biotechnology can pursue their career in the pharmaceutical industry. Various pharmaceutical companies like Dabur, Hindustan lever, Cipla, Rossari Biotech India Pvt. Ltd and Hindustan antibiotics employ these graduates for research, marketing and testing purposes. Some of the posts available for theses graduates are Marketing Manager, Quality Control Officer and Production in-charge. These graduates can work in the biotechnology division of manufacturing companies like Southern Petrochemical Industries Limited and Godrej.
