I have no idea of this programme at Vivekananda Global University but being alumni of LPU, I would be sharing the details of this programme at LPU. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the BSC in agriculture. Eligibility for admission in this course is as follows, 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPUNEST or 60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPUNEST OR 60% in 2 year Diploma(Agriculture) after 10th + LPUNEST Age Condition :- Minimum 16 Years (i.e. born on or before last date of admission) 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. Hello Vinay, There is a huge scope of BSc in agriculture there are a lot of career prospects after this like Agricultural Officers,AO in Banks, Indian Forestry Services, Agricultural Research, Scientists, Academics, etc. there are very few places in India. who are providing good education in agriculture LPU is one of them. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations.
