Dear Vinay, The scope of BSc. in Agriculture is much nowadays. I have no idea of this programme at Vivekananda Global University but being alumni of LPU, I would be sharing the details of this programme at LPU. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (i). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditations for a period of five years BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Placement: LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The highest package of this programme at LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the BSC in agriculture. Hello Vinay, There is a huge scope of BSc in agriculture there are a lot of career prospects after this like Agricultural Officers,AO in Banks, Indian Forestry Services, Agricultural Research, Scientists, Academics, etc. there are very few places in India. who are providing good education in agriculture LPU is one of them. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations.
