Hello, Food Technology has a wide career scope in government and private sectors with the fast growing industry in India and abroad. Food Technology is a Science branch that deals with the techniques involved in production, processing, preservation, packaging, labeling, quality management, and distribution of food products. The field also involves techniques and processes that are used to transform raw materials into food. Extensive research goes behind making food items edible as well as nutritious. Hi, B.Tech Food Technology is a very advancing field and offering a great career opportunities. So, it is a good decision to pursue B.Tech in food technology after class 12th. Food Processing and Technology Engineering branch is a promising one. Ample amounts of job opportunities are available in front of graduates in government as well as private sectors. Competition for job posts is less, since there are relatively lesser number of colleges offering this course, and thus lesser number of students pursuing it.
