Chemical Engineering is a well established branch. The scope for the field is enormous. People find jobs in the numerous industries like petroleum refineries, natural gas processing plants, textiles, polymer based industries etc spread all across India spanning both the private and the public sector. Opportunities are there outside the country as well, plenty of Oil Extraction and processing companies offer jobs on the Middle East and the gulf countries. The European countries like Germany enlist Chemical Engineers in special jobs such as Operations and Research and Development, Americans also offer the same kind of posts . On the other hand research opportunities can be seen in famous Universities abroad as well as in India .
