Marine Medicine is a medicinal branch that includes hyperbaric medicine, maritime medicine, diving medicine and submarine medicine. Their are only 2 seats for MD marine in inhs Ashvini college.

Its a branch of military medicine with good scope in civil also as diving physician in oil rigs in india and abroad and consultant in hyperbaric medicine chambers in various hospitals. INHS Asvini is the only center in south east Asian where an government approved MD degree is being awarded to candidates. Since there are only two seats in India, all seats are taken by the service candidates.
