Since, MBA is an old version of pursuing management studies whereas PGDM is a Diploma course that makes you industry ready with more practical knowledge. So, PGDM is much better than MBA.

In India, PGDM has equal value as MBA. Even IIMs provide PGDM courses instead of MBA course because they can personalize and prepare the structure of the PGDM course according to the best productive way for the students. There is hardly any difference when it comes to placements.

    Hi,
Both has good scope and have a less difference between them.
    1. MBA is more valued then PGDM in other countries I. e. if you want to go out of India PGDM has no value but MBA does.
    2. Fees structure varies alot.
    3. PGDM is given by deemed university which is a Diploma not a degree but MBA is given by government/University which is a degree.
    4. Scope of both are same but in India people are approaching more for PGDM then MBA. So, if you want to go for PGDM, sure you can go.
Hope this will clear you a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.
