    Hi Kirti,
    Rigging is a specialization. Like a real skeleton, a rig is made up of joints and bones, each of which act as a "handle" that animators can use to bend the character into a desired pose.
    If you compare it to animation, the number of jobs would be lesser. However, a good rigger would always find a job. A rigger is typically good with logic and numbers. In the recent years India alongwith South Korea, Singapore, Philippines, China and Japan have seen a huge amount of outsourced animation work from across the globe.
