What is the scope of Aeronautical Engineering?

An aeronautical engineer can also design, test and contribute to the development of advanced technologies in the field of defense and space science. Scope in India: In India aeronautical engineers are mostly employed by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and the Defense Ministry. One can also look for jobs available with the Civil Aviation Department, National Aeronautical Laboratory, Defense Research and Development Laboratories (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Scope Abroad A lot of job opportunities for aeronautical engineers are also available in the countries like United States of America, France, UK and Germany. Therefore, aeronautical or aviation engineers from India as well as from all other parts of the world flock to these countries. Hi Ravi! As Aeronautical is a field which is in the developing face, although, there are several colleges providing Aeronautical Engineering but not all colleges. Its a buddying field with lots of scope in coming future, After the course completion, you may work as : -Consultant -Thermal Design Engineer -Graduate Engineer Trainee -Mechanical Design Engineer -Aerospace Designer Checker -Assistant Aircraft Engineer -Aircraft Production Manager -Assistant Technical Officer * Salary : Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, to give you a brief view : Engineers employed in government sectors are paid according to the official scales whereas in private sectors are paid according to the scales decided by the management of the company. Engineering graduates with management degrees can get their initial income between Rs.10, 000 to Rs. 40,000 every month. * As far as safety is concerned, in the current scenario, girls are almost into every field.
