One of the most challenging areas of engineering, aerospace engineering deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space and defense systems. Aerospace Engineering involves design and manufacturing of hi-tech systems, hence the engineer requires possessing manual, technical and mechanical ability.
This discipline specializes in designing, construction, development, testing and maintenance of commercial and military aircrafts and space crafts. Aerospace Engineering is categorized into two branches aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering.

6 years agoAerospace engineering has recently elevated in India. So, we cannot expect much scope as there are hardly any private companies (ex: - Team Indus). Though there are government run companies such as ISRO, DRDO and HAL. But, getting into these companies is a bit challenging as best of best get into such companies.
The only thing about aerospace engineers is to create scope rather than finding scope. In simple words, if you choose this field, start working on your own projects which will act as your helping hands after graduation for getting into the mentioned highly esteemed organizations.
