AME is a niche branch of engineering in whichever you are only eligible for aircraft servicing and maintenance jobs. You will get very little aircraft design exposure. The cut off varies every year in various engineering colleges. If you aim to be in the first 5% to 10% rank in entrance exams, you will be able to fulfill your dreams.
