    LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also.     Lovely Professional University is one of the prestigious institute of India for higher studies and placements. I have seen lot of posts by other persons that LPU is placing their students in software companies etc. Well I want to clarify this statement that:

    Dear Ashif, It depends on the college you get. The number of good institutes providing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering is less. In fact very few like VIT, LPU, RJIT, PSG, etc. IITs providing B.Tech in Automobile is also very few. So if you are not getting admission in these colleges for automobile, don't opt automobile engineering
    My friend did B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU and got placed in an MNC. He told me that the highest package offered for this programme at LPU is INR 31 LPA. Salient Features :

    Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles.     See, in India, there are very less automobiles manufacturing plants and in those also almost all the jobs are grabbed by the top college graduates like graduates of IITs and IIITs and hence for the private colleges and also the state governed colleges there are very chances of getting job.
