What is the scope of automobile engineering?

LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill. Apart from their placements, LPU also provides rich support to its students to focus on their entrepreneurship projects that can help the student set up their own business. Every year, lot of championships and competitions such as Go Kart are organized in the university for giving a platform to students for innovation and development. In 2019, when PM Modi visited to university for addressing Indian Science Congress "a driver less car" was deigned by the students to drop them from the helipad to the main venue. Lovely Professional University is one of the prestigious institute of India for higher studies and placements. Let me give you a complete perspective being in the industry myself for the last 6 years. The most important question you should ask yourself is, are you really interested in the automotive industry or you just want to look at the money factor. If it's the former, welcome, if it's the later, you should not consider it, it will be the biggest mistake of your life and you should consider doing something else. The INDIAN automotive industry is the most dynamic and exciting one in the world right now and the biggest reason is the consumer base. Our population is so diverse in terms of age and taste and they have so many options now that it keeps evolving. Now coming to careers. The industry can be widely divided into 3 sectors. R and D, manufacturing and sales n marketing. Now it is very important from where you do your Automobile engineering from and how much have you developed on your hands on skills. I can give example of my university where the automobile engineering scored high. LPU is regarded the best for automobile engineering because there are many academic opportunities provided to the students. LPU promotes innovation and exploration. LPU Students wins Car Design Competitions at the Delta Automation Contest-2017 in China among which more than 75 teams participated from across ASIA. In another achievement Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. India's first-ever self-driving, solar-powered bus hits the road and made the maiden journey at he Indian Science Congress which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, held at LPU. The bus was designed by LPU students. Engineering Students From All Over India Participated In EFFI-Cycle 2018, Held At LPU Campus in Collaboration With Maruti Suzuki where there were more than 70 participants from institutions like IITs, NITs and from colleges across India. There was cash price of 1 Lacs at the national green mobility competitive event. LPU Students don't just draw a car design, they actually built it and presented it alongside Mercedes, BMW etc. At Auto Expo where LPU students showed 15 unique car designs and prototypes. LPU students design and race go karts, electric bikes, solar cars and efficient pedal cycles. That's the way to learn engineering! Hi there, being an alumnus of LPU I would like to share some of the crucial points of Automobile Engineering: Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. Eligibility: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The chances of you getting placed at a company solely depend upon you and not on anybody else for that matter. There is no set package that you receive after graduating. Job is used to sustain yourself while doing what you love. It isn't like that you provide money to the college to spend 4 years and after that, you get a job. You are getting educated and universities are not some job agencies so stop looking at a degree like that. Anyways, LPU gives great placements to capable students of automobile engineering. PLACEMENTS: The maximum package availed by students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme is 10 LPA from Hettich India, Intellipat. The majority opt for Teaching/Research. Dear Ashif, It depends on the college you get. The number of good institutes providing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering is less. In fact very few like VIT, LPU, RJIT, PSG, etc. IITs providing B.Tech in Automobile is also very few. So if you are not getting admission in these colleges for automobile, don't opt automobile engineering My friend did B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU and got placed in an MNC. He told me that the highest package offered for this programme at LPU is INR 31 LPA. See, in India, there are very less automobiles manufacturing plants and in those also almost all the jobs are grabbed by the top college graduates like graduates of IITs and IIITs and hence for the private colleges and also the state governed colleges there are very chances of getting job.
