There are lot of scopes. I am going to talk about the paths commonly opted by students:
Getting a job directly after B. Pharma: Graduates who do not wish to pursue post graduate studies or plan on doing them later try to get jobs after B.Pharma. Jobs are usually offered in the field of sales and marketing. Some also work as pharmacists in hospitals whereas some are able to secure jobs at manufacturing facilities of pharmaceutical companies. Some also set up their own pharmacy. MBA after B. Pharma: Some students pursue MBA after B.Pharma whereas some pursue it after gaining a few years' experience (usually in sales and marketing). B Pharm is professional Bachelor degree in Pharmacy of 4 years duration. After the course, you have two options. Either start working as Pharmacist with any hospitals, Medical shops etc.or you can find research assistant jobs with pharmaceutical companies. You can expect a salary range of 9,000 - 20,000
The second option is in Pharma Sales / Marketing as Medical Repp. with pharmacy companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma etc.Compared to Hospitals and other jobs , pharma companies are paying better salary for sales people. Incentives are other attraction in this industry. An efficient rep. can draw 3 times incentives of his salary.
