After completing the 4 years long Bachelor of Planning course, graduates may start working as professional planners for Government or Private enterprises and setups. Planners have diverse job opportunities. Bachelor of Planning graduates have access to both Government as well as Private sector job opportunities. Government Departments related to Urban and Town planning, Government operated Housing schemes, Government Transportation Projects (Highways, Railways and Metros etc. ), Government Construction and rehabilitation projects, PWD job posts, Municipal Corporation job posts etc. Are well known Government job opportunities available in front of planning graduates. Further on the basis of your marks obtained in JEE Main Paper-2, Your admission in NITs and GFTIs are very tough if belongs to general category. However ever you can exercise in some reputed private colleges.
