    Dear Siddharth, For B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture. There are ample of opportunities in this field both in the Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any.     Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc.

    Agriculture is the backbone of India and B.Sc Agriculture is a good course to learn agricultural techniques and it also has good placement opportunities as you can be employed by any private or government firm or you can start your own work or even you can start your career as a lecturer by pursuing M.Sc in agriculture. There are a lot of government opportunities available for the B.Sc in agriculture graduates. So, it has very good scope in India.

    The career scope for students of B.Sc agriculture is quite ample these days. With the required qualification in addition to the sufficient wok experience, it is possible for aspirants to get good jobs. Those who desire to continue their education into the advanced levels can do so as well.
