    Hi,
    Forensic Science in India has a little scope in private jobs, that too depending on your expertise and from where you have studied. If you have studied from Amity University, Lovely Professional University, then there may be some scope or else in the government agencies, you can get the job as per the availability.

    Forensic Science does have scope in India, but it is not a well-paying field. The simple reason for this is that this sector does not generate any revenue; it only requires input of large sums of money with no returns. This is also the reason why forensic labs in India aren't very well-maintained. In India, private investigators are rarely hired so you have to depend on forensic science lab vacancies which are filled by public service commission exams or by staff selection commission.
