    B.Sc. Agriculture has a good scope abroad. Recently an agriculture student of LPU has been placed at a package of 1 crore in MONsanto co, Canada. LPU is the best university to go for if you want to work abroad. LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments.     Hello Abhishek,
    Agricultural graduates are absorbed as 'Agricultural Development Officers' by state governments. Banks also have special posts as specialist officers for agricultural graduates. A billion dollar private sector industry exists in contract farming, fertilizer, pesticide, /agrochemicals, farm forestry etc. That hires agricultural graduates. If you do MBA in agribusiness management and are upwardly mobile sky is the limit for salaries/perks offered. You can do Masters and Ph.D. and get absorbed in teaching/research in the Agricultural Universities/ ICAR Agricultural Research Service (Central Government). Private players als

    Dear Abhishek,
    You want to pursue B.Sc Agri abroad or you are a B.Sc grad and looking for opportunities abroad? I'm assuming the former, There are destinations like Australia, NZ, and EU countries (Netherlands, Sweden etc - Language could be a barrier though) that offer good scope in this field.     There is a Good scope of B.Sc. in agriculture abroad. Many reputed companies visit agriculture colleges or universities for recruiting B.Sc. Agriculture students under campus placement programme. Jobs like Agriculture Development Officer (ADO), Class-I (Gazetted), Agriculture Extension Officer, Range Forest Officer, District Horticulture Officer (D. H. O.)

    Dear Abhishek, There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any.
