B.Sc in agriculture is the first degree in agriculture. It is a broad-based course that deals with production of food and horticultural crops, rearing of farm animals, agricultural extension, rural economy and rural development, working with farmers, environmental health, etc. As such the B.Sc agriculture degree holders are exposed to and knowledgeable in many fields that are related rural development and find jobs in public and private sector agricultural and related companies, banks, and self-employment as entrepreneurs.
